Warped tour is returning in 2026 after a successful comeback last year. They brought it back to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the festival. It was such a success that they decided to do it again.
They added two more cities : Montreal and Mexico City.
Two of the three editions from last year sold out before bands were even announced. None of the five editions have sold out so far this year. Let’s break them down !
Washinton DC
First stop is Washington DC on June 13, 14. Like last year I don’t even know most of the bands ! The only ones I know of and that I would want to see will also be in Orlando where I will go in November : Jimmy Eat World, MXPX and Third Eye Blind Wich I am the most excited to see. I am jealous of one band that will be there, Rise Against. There are still some blanks as some bands can not be announced until they’re done performing at another festival or venue in the area.
Long Beach
Up next is Long Beach California on July 25,26. You will notice there are some similarities between editions and some bands are playing at many of them. There is a few that I wish I could see like G-Eazy Wich I’ve never seen, Lag Wagon, Mad Caddies and the Aggrolites.
Montreal
Then we have Montreal on August 21,22. Seems like there is less bands than the ones in the United States but that doesn’t mean less quality as they have one of the best lineups this year including local bands Big Wig and The Planet Smashers. With Gob, Good Riddance, Strung Out and Pennywise it almost feels like some of the older editions of the festival. One band that I wish I could see is Spike and the Gimme Gimmes.
Mexico City
Next one is Mexico City on September 12,13. It is the edition that is the least appealing to me and also has less bands like Montreal. There are local bands there too. The ones I wish I could see are Papa Roach and The Aquabats!.
Orlando
Last but not least we have Orlando on November 14,15 where I will be again this year. I really enjoyed it there and the people were nice. It is my birthday on the 11th so the timing is good ! The number of bands that I wish to see this year have doubled, last year there were only three. The ones I would not want to miss are Jimmy Eat World, MXPX, Reel Big Fish, Simple Plan, Sublime and Third Eye Blind and there is a few more that I would not mind seeing.
Will it be back next year ? I would say yes and maybe they will add some more cities. As for me this will be the last time that I will be going, that is what I say but who knows… !
