We are almost done watching the numerous music videos from Drake’s latest projects as we now start part 5 of 6 !

Make them remember

We hear a camera roll as we see a sunrise in downtown Toronto. It switches to night and Drake is dressed like a giant flashy Michael Jackson glove. Someone is taking pictures of him while he’s taking poses. He’s right outside of Toronto’s city hall.

He walks inside of it, a videographer and a sound engineer are greeting him in. It looks like the mayor’s office. It is because he’s putting on her ceremonial chain of office ! We see images of the City Hall from the outside. He starts recording a song right at the office from a built-in studio.

He takes breaks from rapping sitting and writing at the mayor’s desk. He’s also walking and looking outside for inspiration. Drake is now talking on the phone and texting while at the city council chambers. A woman walks in and sits down. He can see her on a tv screen and smiles.

It switches back and forth between two scenes. In the mayor’s office and at the city council chambers where the woman is now sitting on his lap. They keep on recording the song and the video ends as we see Drake outside in front of the city hall.

Little Birdie

It starts outside of what looks like a cabaret (an adult one). A scene that I felt could be in the United States or somewhere in Europe. There is a man dancing on the curb and some girls are smoking cigarettes. Looks like they could be working there.

We now see them getting ready in their dressing room. The dancer is making its way onstage while dancing. Drake is rapping but not onstage, there is one of the girls next to him.

The scenes are now switching between the girls getting ready, Drake singing and the dancer onstage. The showgirls are now in the audience watching the dancer. We see Brass Rail behind him, it must be the name of the place.

He’s now dancing in what seems like a hotel that could be upstairs as a girl is going from one room to another. He also dances between the girls and we see him at the bar.

It seems like dancing is also is way of getting around. There are more girls with Drake now. It ends with an employee of the city that’s cleaning in front of the cabaret.

I did a little research to see where the Brass Rail was located and to my surprise it’s actually located in Toronto. Described as the oldest and most well-known adult entertainment establishments in the city.

Drake has multiple talents, way too many to name them all now but one that has come to my attention by watching this video is that he is able to find and recognize talent. I’m not talking about the strippers although they must be very good !

At first I thought the dancer was part of the venue serving as a host or something… Well he isn’t, he’s a dancer from Brooklyn, NY (Storyboard P) who I was really happy to discover.

I’ve been through few of his videos, I will leave my favorite here. He has a very unique style where his feet never leave the ground or at least one foot as he moves and dances.

Don’t Worry

Was this song supposed to be right after 2 Hard 4 the Radio on IceMan ? Why do I say that ? Well because the two videos go together as they both happen on top of the CN tower and he’s wearing the same clothes. Same views of the city that looks like they’re fill ups and that same blue light that lights up the tower.

He literally is just done the last scene from the other video and it goes onto this one like a sequel. Same kind of vibe too I would say musically. Maybe too much to be one after the other on the album… They did it already with What did I miss and Plot Twist where both videos were completing each other and also following songs on the album.

Is there or was there a radio station at the CN tower ? Maybe as we see an antenna and a little studio with a on air sign… That would be another hint that it was supposed to be after 2 Hard 4 the Radio on IceMan, he is playing himself on the radio !

I noticed a Red Libanese sticker on the studio’s window, logo that we can also see on the back of Drake’s clothing in National Treasure’s video. It’s pretty much him in the studio singing while sitting and standing the entire time. Some more filler shots of the city, some shots from the studio and the tower.
